Shaping Food Experience Design
Shaping Food Experience Design
11.15-12:00h Lecture and Q&A at EDIBLE BELGIUM CONFERENCE
Food (Experience) Design is an emerging discipline that re-examines what, why, and how we eat. In a design context, food serves as a multi-sensory material and a powerful medium to trigger societal and environmental dialogue.
As a universal language, food connects cultures and people; eating is an inherently political act. By innovating edible experiences, food design strives to drive positive, replicable change.
For 15 years, Germany-based designer and educator Inés Lauber has dedicated her creative practice to this field, shaping the intersection of culinary arts and design through memorable, world-class edible experiences.
